Capstone Program Application Process
The Taipei Capstone Program is administered by Hunter College, and are attended by students from all Chinese Flagship institutions. Therefore, to be granted entry, all Flagship students must go through a rigorous application process that proves their Chinese speaking, reading, listening, and writing to be at an Advanced level. For University of Rhode Island Chinese Flagship students, this application process generally takes place after three or four years of Flagship Chinese studies, and University of Rhode Island Flagship professors hold a J-Term program each year to help students prepare for examinations and to answer application related-questions.
The University of Rhode Island Chinese Flagship Program cannot guarantee that students will a) be granted entry to either Capstone Program, or b) be granted entry to the specific Capstone center they indicated they wished to attend. This being said, almost 100% of University of Rhode Island Flagship students are accepted to their program of choice during their first year of application.
Please contact the University of Rhode Island Chinese Language Flagship Program for more information on the application process.
