Overview

The URI Chinese Flagship Program is part of a network of Flagship universities across the nation that are sponsored and guided by the U.S. government. When you apply to the URI Flagship Program, it constitutes an application for admission to URI’s program and the Flagship Program nationwide.

If admitted, students will have access to Flagship scholarships and will be registered in the national Flagship database for the length of their participation in the program. Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents to become official Flagship students, be officially registered, and receive Flagship scholarships.

Students are encouraged to contact us with any questions or concerns throughout the application process at 401.874.5566 or flagship@etal.uri.edu.
