Welcome to URI Conference Services. Each summer more than 8,000 guests from Rhode Island, the United States, and around the globe visit our beautiful campus. We host youth programs, sports camps, conferences, symposiums, and many more special events. The campus offers a safe, classic, New England setting where groups can learn and be inspired. Summer is a wonderful time to visit URI as the surrounding communities are alive with activities. Guests often take advantage of their time to explore Newport and our scenic beaches.

Our knowledgeable staff is available to assist you throughout the planning process to help ensure that your program is successful and that your guests have a wonderful experience. Come join us and see why Rhode Island, the “Ocean State” is the biggest little state in the union.

With over 30 acres of recreational fields and plenty of guest parking, we’re an exceptional venue for your tournament or program.

The University of Rhode Island hosts dozens of camps and programs on a wide variety of themes for all ages. From computers, landscape architecture, engineering and sports to sailing, strings, jazz and more, a host of programs will make summer sizzle for all!

We serve as the University’s central source for external organizations wishing to host an event at URI. Our mission is to provide comprehensive event planning services to groups needing accommodations, dining, meeting and recreation space on campus. Conferences, workshops, seminars, youth programs, sports camps and special events are just a few activities we produce with our faculty, staff, and/or clients from off-campus.
