URI Conference Services serves as the University’s central resource for facilitating external events on campus. All campus resources needed for your event are coordinated through our office to ensure a smooth and successful execution on campus. Services include event planning and management, summer accommodations, dining and catering coordination, financial management and invoicing of all departments, event registration and consultation for external vendors and offsite suppliers.
The mission of Conference Services is to act as a one-stop shop for internal and external clients planning external events on campus, to produce high-quality, successful and engaging experiences for attendees while generating revenue for University departments from the use of campus resources.
