Amy Broemmel
Associate Dean of Teacher Education
Amy Broemmel is a professor of teacher education, with a focus on elementary and literacy education. She earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, with an emphasis on literacy and language learning at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Her research centers preservice and in-service teacher voices, primarily related to their own learning and development.
Daniel Kelley
Associate Professor of Educational Leadership and Policy
Before joining URI, Kelley served as principal of Smithfield High School for 17 years, and consultant for the R.I. Association of Secondary Principals, and the R.I. Instructional Leadership Academy, as well as a math, science and special services teacher in Rhode Island, Michigan and Ohio.
Adam Moore
Associate Professor, Special Education and Coordinator, Graduate Programs
Previously, Moore was a national board-certified special education teacher in Boston Public Schools. As a national leader in the Teacher Education Division of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), Moore has worked to support teacher educators in special education programs. His area of expertise includes special education teacher preparation program design, accreditation, and program improvement.
