Kelley Joseph

Hailing from Massachusetts, Kelley Joseph attended Worcester State University and began teaching right out of college. Joseph was a fixture across the Worcester County school district, lending her talents and expertise to several schools during her tenure. During her 30 years in the classroom, Joseph became a highly accredited reading specialist receiving a M.A. in elementary education specializing in reading and educating a variety of students.

After more than three decades of teaching students and mentoring others, Joseph retired from teaching and moved to Rhode Island full-time. Joseph enjoys sailing as well as all that the Narragansett area has to offer. In addition to her support on the College of Education’s advisory council, Joseph is also a supervisor and observer for URI students entering early education classrooms. Joseph is committed to both the University of Rhode Island and the College of Education’s success as well as each student’s journey at and after URI.
