Supporting the Next Generation of Educators

At the University of Rhode Island’s College of Education, we believe future educators deserve meaningful support as they prepare to shape classrooms, communities, and the future of learning.

Each year, our college awards approximately $500,000 in scholarships to support students pursuing careers in education. In the 2024–2025 academic year, 95 College of Education students received scholarships directly from the college, in addition to financial aid and scholarships available through the University of Rhode Island.

These scholarships are made possible through the generosity of alumni, educators, and supporters who believe deeply in preparing the next generation of teachers, leaders, and advocates for education.
