Directions to the Fascitelli Center for Advanced Engineering

  1. Join route 138 (East or West) towards the University of Rhode Island

  2. Turn right, or left, onto Upper College Road, Main Entrance

  3. Drive ~0.7 miles (past 3 intersections); turn right into Bills Road at the Fine Arts Center Board. (See photo #1 below)

  4. Park in Lot #6, also known as Faculty/Staff Lot; it is about 50m on the left on Bills Road.

  5. Walk back along Bill Road, to the Fine Arts Center Board; at the stop sign you will see Kirk Hall and the Pedestrian Overpass labeled College of Engineering. (See photo #2 below)

  6. Walk under the overpass; then immediately turn right and the first set of doors on the left-hand side is the entrance to the Fascitelli Center for Advanced Engineering. (See photo 3 below).

  7. Once inside walk past the large freight elevator and the ELECOMP Capstone Lab, Room 150 will be on the right-hand side. (See photo 4 below)

Registering your vehicle for parking

(All visitor vehicles attending the Summit must be registered through the URI Parking Portal, see below)

  1. To register your vehicle, click here

  2. Click on Event Permits

  3. Agree with the terms of service

  4. Select your event type which is “Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering”

  5. Select ELECOMP Capstone Summit Spring 2024

  6. Then enter the voucher code: Capstone-Summit-24 (see image below)

As a reminder, this visitor pass is ONLY valid in lot #6: Fine Arts South between the hours of 1 PM and 8 PM on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. These permits are NOT valid for students or faculty/staff. If you park in the wrong lot, you will be subject to a parking ticket from the University of Rhode Island. To view a campus map, please click here.   You will see that Lot #6 is in grids B5 and B6.
