Alumnus Named Chair of APWA National Young Professionals Committee

URI civil and environmental engineering alumnus Frank Marinaccio was named chair of the American Public Works Association (APWA) National Young Professionals Committee. The committee brings together members of APWA’s nine regions throughout the U.S. and Canada to foster participation.

Marinaccio earned a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering, with a minor in Spanish, in 2010. He has worked for BETA Group, Inc. since 2017. Starting as an engineer, Marinaccio is now a project manager.

Prior to joining BETA Group, Inc., Marinaccio was an engineer for the city of Newport.
