Online and Distance Learning

The purpose of the Joint Committee on Online and Distance Learning (JCODL) is to propose, examine, and recommend institutional policies and practices for developing, planning, and evaluating online and distance learning with a focus on quality, sustainability, and connection to the University’s mission, with approval of the Faculty Senate and Provost. Further, JCODL, considers faculty training, quality in delivery of online offerings, student learning outcomes, and ADA compliance regarding online and distance learning, as well as develops and implements strategic plans for online courses, certificate, and degree programs. (University Manual 5.78.10 – 5.78.11).
