Undergraduate Research Symposium on Europe and Eurasia

Undergraduate students from all majors and institutions who have written a research paper from a social science, humanities, or business perspective focusing on the study of Eastern, Western, or Central Europe, the European Union, Russia, or Central Eurasia are invited to participate at an Undergraduate Research Symposium hosted by the University of Pittsburgh.

Scotland’s Saltire Scholarship

Available to students from the United States, Canada, China, India, Japan, and Pakistan, this scholarship will go towards a student’s tuition for a master’s degree at a Scottish university in fields that include science, technology, creative industries, healthcare and medical sciences, and renewable and clean energy. The scholarship is dependent on acceptance to a Scottish university and are only for one year. It can be awarded to those who will be taking their course(s) from home.

Public Health Associate Program (PHAP)

This is a two-year opportunity to work in the field of public health with a public health department or nongovernmental organization that can include academic institutions or community-based groups. Throughout their time with the program, associates will be assigned a location to work in throughout the United States and its territories and are responsible for paying for their relocation costs, but will be reimbursed for any costs for traveling to the three in-person CDC trainings over the course of the program.

Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals

The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX) is a fellowship funded by the German Bundestag and State Department. It annually provides 75 American and 75 German young professionals between the ages of 18½–24 the opportunity to spend one year in each other’s countries studying, interning, and living with hosts.
