A message from the Assistant Vice President, Financial Strategy & Planning

The Office of Financial Strategy & Planning efficiently and effectively stewards the financial resources of the University of Rhode Island in support of the University’s educational, research and public service mission.

We provide guidance to our campus partners to facilitate operational decision-making while also leading various planning and modeling activities in support of strategic decision-making processes across the University. It is core to our mission to remain impartial in all that we do to ensure resources are provided in a clear and transparent manner.

We are staffed by a team of qualified professionals who have the knowledge and expertise to assist University personnel in all aspects of the financial planning process. We utilize technology and industry best practices wherever possible to streamline business processes for the University community.
