Geological Oceanography Specialization
Highlights of this specialization include a senior research project to be carried out under the direction of a GSO faculty member.
In addition to the core courses required for all B.S. in Geology and Geological Oceanography majors. Students in the Geology Specialization must take the following courses:
- OCG 301 General Oceanography or OCG 451 Oceanographic Science
- OCG 440 Geological Oceanography
- Oceanography elective (400-level or above)
- OCG 493/494 Geological Oceanography Research Project
