We are happy to have Cara Mitnick, Esq. joining us at this year’s Graduate Conference from 10am to 1pm in the Swan Atrium.
Cara will be available to discuss the career development available through the Graduate School at URI and to offer drop-in career advising. Students can bring a CV, resume, or cover letter for a quick 10-minute review.

Cara Mitnick is the Director of Professional Development at URl’s Graduate School where she provides career coaching and professional skill building strategies to master’s and PhD students in all disciplines, in all stages of their academic careers, and works with administrators and faculty across campus to establish resources to help graduate students achieve their academic and professional goals. Cara has served as assistant dean for career services at University of San Diego School of Law, and worked as a tax attorney for a large international law firm and on Capitol Hill in DC as a research analyst for the House Judiciary Committee.
She holds a law degree from Northwestern and a BA in International Relations from Tufts University.
