ASSISTANTSHIP CONTRACT PORTAL

All assistantship appointment letters are initated through the Adobe Acrobat Sign platform. Once a contract is signed by all parties, the contract must be submitted through the Assistantship Contract Submission portal with an SGA-2G form, if applicable.

For SGA-2G forms, please do not submit the forms directly to the approving departments (e.g. Foundation Office or Office of Sponsored Projects), hand-deliver, or through interoffice mail. Once the form is submitted through the portal, the approving departments will review the forms based on the funding source.


GA Contract Deadlines:

*IMPORTANT: Contracts must be submitted by the deadline to ensure students can enroll in their contractual benefits (e.g. health/dental insurance and parking permit). If you need an extension, please submit an inquiry form immediately.

May 25, 2024Sept. 29, 2024All Instructors of Record are to receive their letters of appointment three months before the beginning of their appointment (section 3.3 URIGAU)
July 26, 2024Nov. 29, 2024All graduate assistants must receive and sign their assistantship contract (section 3.3 URIGAU)
Aug. 16, 2024Dec. 20, 2024Contracts MUST be submitted to the Graduate School's assistantship submission portal. (Assistantship waivers cannot be processed if contract is not received)


Termination / Changes to GA Contracts:

The Graduate School MUST receive notice of ALL terminations and changes to assistantship contracts.  Submit a Contract Change Form and CC Kathy Kantor at kathykantor@uri.edu or provide her with a copy of the form.
