Capstone Showcase

Come join us in celebrating the exciting work from our capstone courses. These multimodal projects represent disciplines across the Harrington School and serve as the culmination of each student’s academic achievements. All Harrington students are encouraged to attend and families are welcome.

The showcase includes work from:

FLM495 – A Film/ Media capstone course focused on writing across multiple fields of study. Students focus on written examinations of works across the media landscape.

FLM496 – A Film/ Media capstone course focused on production and technique. These projects span genres, with students producing short-form narrative, documentary, and experimental works.

SCM495– A school-wide capstone course focusing on interdisciplinary projects where students produce research-based written and/or visual works based on their field of study.

JOR411/ JOR420 – These courses focus on assembling a professional portfolio and producing journalistic works. These projects span format and are encouraged to use multimodal storytelling techniques.

Harrington School Excellence Awards & Honors Ceremony

4:30 – 6:00 PM
Hope Room, Welcome Center

The Harrington School is excited to invite students and their families to our annual Honors Ceremony. We will present our Excellence Awards, and students graduating with Honors (GPA 3.3 or higher) will receive their Harrington School honors stole.

Students receiving honors will receive an email invitation to the event.

Parking

Register your vehicle for the Harrington Honors Ceremony on April 29. Select the event type “HARRINGTON SCHOOL OF COMMS” and use the voucher code Harrington 2024 to sign up. Complete your vehicle information to finish registering your vehicle. You will be able to park in Lot 6 – Fine Arts South Lot from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
