Audrey Finocchiaro, the co-founder of The Nitro Bar

Audrey Finocchiaro is the co-founder of Nitro Bar, a Rhode Island–based coffee brand that has grown from a single mobile cart in 2016 into multiple storefronts across the state. In addition to building a beloved local business, Finocchiaro has driven Nitro Bar’s national recognition through savvy, creative use of TikTok, where her content re-creating unique coffee orders has helped grow the brand’s following to over 600,000. Her work highlights the power of social media to build community, brand loyalty, and real-world business growth.
Amy Righter ’15, the Marketing Lead, Social & Brand Partnerships for Task Rabbit

Amy Righter used her passion and creativity to build a dynamic career in social media management. Amy’s hands-on experiences and the relationships she built at URI informed her career trajectory, from starting at a small social media agency to working her way up to social media lead at TaskRabbit.
Catherine Scott ’14, the Social Media and Marketing Manager for URI

Catherine Scott is the Social Media and Marketing Manager at the University of Rhode Island, where she leads the university’s social presence with a strategic focus on community building, storytelling, and student experience. She works closely with colleges, departments, and student teams to create social-first content that strengthens belonging and celebrates the achievements of the URI community. She is also a proud URI alumna.
Brittney Darcy ’21, the marketing manager for Moore House Design

With over seven years of industry experience, Brittney Darcy leads brand marketing through a multifaceted creative lens, bridging strategic insight, narrative storytelling, and refined editorial aesthetics to shape how design is seen and experienced. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, her work spans brand development, creative strategy, PR, and visual direction, with a focus on building thoughtful, culturally resonant brand identities. She shapes brand visibility through editorial storytelling, strategic partnerships, and art-directed experiences, creating moments that translate seamlessly across platforms and into the real world.
