Learning Outcomes

Students enrolled in the Public Relations Program will be immersed in critical thinking, analysis, and writing opportunities to refine their understanding of major concepts and theories associated with Public Relations trends and initiatives. 

URI Public Relations graduates will learn:

Effective written skills to include accurate grammar and punctuation.

Effective oral presentation skills to convey information in a logical, concise manner. Students will be able to display critical thinking skills in an effort to solve a problem.

Integration of meaningful information from varies relevant sources (e.g., surveys, polls, forums, primary/secondary sources).

Critical analysis of data resulting in effective problem solving.
