I am interested in wildlife biology and conservation efforts, specifically focused on disease ecology and evolution ecology. I am passionate about conservation efforts and research supporting the protection of biodiversity in ecosystems. I have a particular interest in undergraduate research and am hoping to continue my education and research after receiving my Bachelor’s degree. At URI I am involved in the Horticulture club, undergraduate research CELS Summer Fellowship, Women in STEM, CELS Student Ambassador, and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society.
I became an ambassador to encourage prospective students to join Honors, as I have really enjoyed all of the experiences I have had with my classes. I would recommend honors to all students looking to develop their professional skills and connect with people from different majors who share similar academic goals.
