The University of Rhode Island and our insurance carrier, United Educators, have been working to update our online education system on sexual harassment, discrimination and sexual violence prevention. URI understands that addressing these incidents is top priority for the university and the right thing to do. We are asking our campus community to share in our efforts by participating in an online education program on sexual harassment, discrimination and sexual violence prevention. Completing the online education will assist the University in creating a respectful campus environment.
Employees are required to complete both education modules, each module should take no longer than 40-60 minutes. The time needed to complete the modules can be taken during the normal workday.
