Welcome to the AI and Quantum computing Summer Camp 2026! The camp will be hosted by the Department of Physics and the URI AI lab, Institute for Artificial Intelligence & Computational Research (IACR). Together, we will explore the world of Quantum Computing and Artificial Intelligence. The camp is funded by grant received from National Institute of Standards and Technology.

 

About the Camp

This summer camp introduces students to foundational concepts in AI and quantum computing through guided activities, demos,
and discussions led by URI faculty and students.

  • Dates: Monday, June 22 – Thursday, 25
  • Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Location: The Fascitelli Center for Advance Engineering, Kingston Campus, University of Rhode Island
  • Audience: Local high school students
  • Format: Workshops + interactive sessions

What Students Will Do
