The IACR offers workshops every semester that cover topics such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, Generative AI, and Programming Languages like R and Python. The Institute also offers consultation and collaboration opportunities covering a wide range of specializations in the broad context of AI. Here are some examples of the student-led projects from Fall ’25. For details on the broad topic of Generative AI, and the relevant university-wide efforts and guidelines, please visit the URI Provost’s AI page.

The IACR’s Education and Outreach (AI Lab) group is led by Indrani Mandal, and includes Cecile Cres, Joan Peckham and additional faculty/staff. A quick snapshot of the IACR resources is available here: IACR at-a-glance.
