The Media Studios provide students with access to professional-grade spaces, tools, and technologies for digital media creation, immersive experiences, and experimental storytelling. Comprised of the XR Lab and the Audio-Media Lab, the Media Studios support hands-on learning across podcasting, gaming, virtual reality, photography, videography, and emerging media workflows. Students can work independently, collaborate in teams, or integrate media production into coursework and campus initiatives.
What You Can Do in the Media Studios

Podcasting & Audio Production
Create podcasts, voiceovers, interviews, and sound design projects using dedicated recording spaces, microphones, mixers, and editing tools. Students can record solo or collaboratively, developing audio skills for academic, creative, and professional use.

Video, Photography & Visual Media
Produce videos, photos, and visual content using cameras, lighting kits, tripods, green screens, and editing software. The studios support everything from class assignments and documentaries to social media content and promotional storytelling.

XR, Gaming & Immersive Media
Explore virtual reality, gaming, and immersive media experiences through the XR Lab. Students can engage with VR headsets, interactive environments, and experimental applications that blend physical and digital storytelling.
Spaces & Equipment Access
Students may work directly in Media Studio spaces or reserve equipment for use on location. Flexible access supports a wide range of projects—from quick recordings to longer-term productions—while training ensures safe and effective use of all tools. Media Studios are designed to scale with student ambition, whether experimenting for the first time or refining advanced projects.
