Media Production

Students can access the space to produce mixed media content, music, and podcasts using top-notch equipment, including microphones and portable sound booths. The lab provides industry-standard academic software to record, edit, and produce media.

Record Podcasts

XR Lab is equipped with top-notch equipment for recording and editing high-quality podcasts. Students can use the lab’s podcast microphones and portable sound booths to record podcasts with ease.

The XR Lab at URI is a popular and versatile space that can be reserved for a range of activities, from virtual reality gaming to media production and podcast recording. Students can reserve the lab for private sessions or group activities, taking advantage of the lab’s cutting-edge equipment, including VR headsets, podcast microphones, and editing software.
