Minor in Interdisciplinary Neuroscience

Overview

Students looking to develop a foundational understanding of the brain and the nervous system may be interested in obtaining a minor in neuroscience. While not as in-depth as a major, the interdisciplinary approach of the courses offered in the minor will provide students with knowledge in areas such as nervous system diseases and current therapeutic strategies, the cellular molecular biology of the nervous system, cognition and behavior. Students will have the opportunity to gain experience with experimental approaches and techniques used to solve unanswered questions in the field of neuroscience.
