My research emphasizes compulsive behaviors surrounding body image, such as body checking behaviors, and the role that society, culture, and sport play in contributing to body image disturbance (BID) and other potential comorbid mental health conditions. I am also interested in psychometric scale development, particularly in validating screening tools for the athlete-specific population.
