  • My research specifically focuses on body image in the athletic population, particularly collegiate athletes. My research emphasizes compulsive behaviors surrounding body image, such as body checking behaviors, and the role that society, culture, and sport play in contributing to body image disturbance (BID) and other potential comorbid mental health conditions. I am also interested in psychometric scale development, particularly in validating screening tools for the athlete-specific population. 
  • I have the immense pleasure of working with Dr. Christie Ward-Ritacco and Dr. Nicole Logan as my PIs
  • I have had the opportunity to present at regional and national conferences (ACSM, ISSN) focusing on original research pertaining to body image, disordered eating, and body checking behaviors
