Why did you choose Kinesiology 

I have always had a passion for fitness, sports, and the study of human movement. I also have always been interested in the field of exercise physiology.

What has been the best part of being a part of the Department of Kinesiology at URI

Having many opportunities to assist with research and collaborate with professors in the department. Being a graduate assistant while completing my Mater degree.

What advice would you like to give to students considering the graduate program in Kinesiology

Take a look at the Kinesiology website to get an idea of the curriculum, facilities, and people in the program, and to get an idea of what path you would be interested in for fulfilling the degree requirement. Also, being proactive and asking any questions you may have about the graduate program.

What is next for you

I accepted an exercise physiologist position at New Horizon Medical LLC, an obesity treatment facility, in Norwood, Massachusetts.
