Biography
Cayla is currently a senior undergraduate student at the University of Rhode Island, majoring in Kinesiology on the Pre-Professional Track. As of Fall 2024, she started her first year of the ABM (accelerated bachelors to masters) Kinesiology program, where she is specializing in the psychosocial/ behavioral aspects of physical activity. This is her second semester being part of the Logan Lab, where she has contributed her efforts to the PALACE children and PALACE young adult study. Her academic interests include strength and conditioning, sports performance in athletes, and health promotion. Cayla’s research focuses on physical activity trends throughout the lifespan of different populations, such as children with ADHD. In addition to her studies, Cayla plays on the varsity women’s soccer team at URI. She is originally from Toronto, Canada, and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, shopping, watching movies, and being outdoors.
