Biography

I am currently a senior kinesiology major from Cranston, Rhode Island. My goal is to become a health and physical education teacher. My campus and community involvement actually helped me make my career decision. On campus I served as a URI 101 mentor and orientation leader for two years, where I learned just how well I could facilitate and manage a group of students. I also had the opportunity to coordinate our school’s pep rally during my junior year. I am a team leader at the Mackal Fitness and Wellness facility as well. When I am not injured I love to play sports with other students in my major (Bandits hockey, check us out). I am incredibly lucky for the opportunities that have been presented to me. I have learned skills I will use for the rest of my life, and have made friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. URI will always hold a special place in my heart. I’m Rhode Island born and Rhode Island bred, and when I die I’ll be Rhode Island dead!
