MAF Grad Students Publish Three Articles in the Latest Issue of Shima

Former MAF PhDs Kaytee Canfield and Jessica Vandenberg, and MAF MAMA Rennie Meyers all have articles published in a special issue of Shima, an island studies journal.  The special issue, guest edited by Dr. Amelia Moore, presents articles on the subject of islands and aquapelagos in the Anthropocene.  Kaytee Canfield’s contribution centers around the tourism industry in Catalina Island, California, Jessica Vandenberg submitted work on the potential social effects of a coral restoration project in a small island community in Indonesia, and Rennie Meyers’s piece discusses the art island of Lanzarote.  Shima is an open access journal and all articles for this special issue can be found here: https://www.shimajournal.org/issues.php#v14n2
