Current Position: Marine Environmental Planner, Tetra Tech

Biography: During her time at the University of Rhode Island, Madeleine worked at the R.I. Department of Environmental Management in Jamestown to gain experience in fisheries management and regulation. Her graduate thesis (advised by Dr. David Bidwell) research fishing industry preferences on the configuration of offshore wind farms.

Following graduation, Madeleine accepted a position at Tetra Tech on their offshore wind team as a Marine Environmental Planner. In this role, she serves as a subject matter expert on commercial and recreational fishing, marine transportation and navigation, and coastal tourism for federal offshore wind permitting projects. As a consultant, Madeleine works with both federal and state agencies as well as commercial developers.
