The Memorial Union at The University of Rhode Island has many things to do, people to see, activities to participate in, food to eat, and undiscovered opportunities!

The Memorial Union is home to the URI Campus Store for your textbooks, sweatshirts, and other URI branded items. The Ram’s Den and Sushi @ Union Square provide meals and snacks across a great culinary spectrum. 193 Coffeehouse at URI, our student cooperative coffeehouse, provides space for gathering, live music, and outstanding coffee. Our other retail outlets – Total Image Hair Salon and Rhode Island Credit Union – are there to support some of our students’ varied needs!

The Memorial Union is home for many of our 130-plus URI Student Senate recognized student clubs and organizations. In addition, we offer social spaces to gather, quieter locations to study, meeting rooms that can be reserved for meetings or study groups, pool tables, a tv lounge, computer access and printing for students, and many administrative offices including Office of the Dean of Students, Center for Student Leadership Development, Office of Disability, Access, and Inclusion, Union Express Student Mailroom, Office of Student Involvement and the Student Event Advising (SEA) Office, as well as the Memorial Union Scheduling Office.
