International Student Checklist

AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED

Please make sure to check either the first-year or transfer checklist and complete the following:

  • Work with the Office of International Students & Scholars (OISS) to receive your I-20 and start the student visa application process as soon as possible. Email us if you have any questions at issoff@etal.uri.edu.
  • Connect to:
  • Join one of our virtual pre-arrival meetings in June to help prepare you for living and learning at URI. All events take place during Eastern Time (ET)
  • Attend one of our International Student Welcome Week virtual information sessions (All events take place during Eastern Time (ET))
  • Attend International Welcome Week Events
