Talent Development – TD Scholars (accepted)

AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED

• Important steps:
  • Attend TD-PREP: March 14, 2026
    PREP is designed to prepare accepted TD Scholars for a successful transition to the University of Rhode Island. Each Scholar must attend and stay for the duration of the event. Should you be unable to attend due to an emergency or unforeseen circumstance, please contact our main office. Information related to PREP will be sent via email to applicants who have been accepted to URI through TD.
  • Complete the Intent to Enroll Form and TD Grant Eligibility Contract. These documents are made available at PREP. Note: TD students do not need to submit an enrollment deposit.
  • All accepted students are highly encouraged to attend one of the URI Welcome Days (registration opens in February)
    • Saturday, March 28
    • Saturday, April 11
    • Sunday, April 19
  • Register for Summer Orientation in May/June. [Registration available in March 2026]
  • Attend TD Summer Success Program: July 5-August 15, 2026
    Live on campus and participate in college transition activities. Successful completion of this program is required to be fully admitted in the fall semester. There is no fee charged for participation in the Summer Success Program. Attendance is mandatory.
  • Complete the Advising Information Form.
  • Complete Math placement.
