Maps and Directions to URI

In order to find the proper route when you arrive on campus, follow the posted signs and the directions of the staff. 

The GPS address is 164 Campus Ave., Kingston, RI 02881 (Residence Halls). All cars will be directed to a drop-off location or to a specific lot for parking. Students who drive themselves will park in an overnight lot and then walk to the check-in location. 

There will be a designated location for student drop-off and then signs directing cars to exit campus or to the family parking lot for family members who will attend Family and Supporter Orientation.

Public Transit
If you are traveling via public transportation, there are three options: bus, train, or plane.

• The RIPTA bus (URI Kingston stop) will take you to the URI Memorial Union Bus circle, a quick five minute walk to the student check-in.
• The Amtrak train station is approximately a 5-minute drive, and the Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport is a 30-minute drive from campus.
• You will want to plan for transportation to and from campus (taxi, Uber, bus) if you arrive via train or plane.
