Overnight Accommodations and Fees

SUMMER ORIENTATION 2026

New students will be staying in one of our residence halls for orientation, and families and supporters have the option of staying on campus (in a separate residence hall) for an additional cost, or booking their own accommodations in a local inn or hotel.

On-Campus Housing

Families and supporters who opt to stay on campus are housed in Brookside Hall. Rooms are air-conditioned, and parking is within walking distance.

Brookside Hall is URI’s newest residence hall and houses approximately 500 in apartment suites of four and six single-occupancy bedrooms. Each suite is furnished and has a full kitchen. Bed size is full XL, and laundry is available on-site (first floor). The building also features Brookside Bistro, a 40-seat cafe with a brick patio and landscaped seating areas.

Rate: $85/night (plus Eventbrite registration/credit card fees) = $92.55/night).

  • Free parking, Wi-Fi, and basic linens. Wi-Fi instructions are provided at check-in
  • We ask that families and supporters staying on campus register at least 1 week in advance so we can best accommodate you.
  • If you have questions about campus accommodations, please call 401.874.2170.
