Summer Orientation 2025
Family and Supporter Orientation is an optional two-day program designed to welcome families to the URI community. During orientation, guests will attend an academic session, hear from university leadership, and participate in programming to learn more about campus resources and support services. The program is designed to provide helpful and relevant information to our new Rhody families while supporting a successful student transition to URI.
Registration
Family members and supporters must register for their own session (please note that registration requires your student’s login credentials). Select your session and follow the link to register:
Cost
The family orientation fee of $55 (for each guest over the age of 12) covers meals and materials. This does not include overnight accommodations. Financial assistance is available. Questions? Email: rhode2ram@uri.edu.
Plan Your Trip
Overnight accommodations on campus and discounted rates at area hotels are available. We invite you to make the most of your trip by exploring the area and enjoying the best of what Rhode Island has to offer!
