About: 

I am a social worker working with prison inmates and their children. I believe that the training I have received here to certify me as a Level I Nonviolence Trainer has helped me be better able to meet the needs of women who have been victims of violence and abuse, who in desperation resorted to violence as a means of escaping a hopeless situation.

I work together with my sister, Pushpa Basnet, for an organization she founded called Early Childhood Development Center in Kathmandu, Nepal. Visit our website to learn more about the important work we do with women and young children.
