My name is Sarah Hinshaw. I have 13 years experience as a professional educator, 10 years as a teacher, two years as a school librarian, and one year as an educational specialist. I am also pursing a PhD in International and Teacher Education with an emphasis in peace and schools in fragile contexts. The process of pursuing the Kingian nonviolence training is to better enable myself to work with schools and communities around issues of peace. This will build off my background as a member of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) and growing up in a pacifist community, that wages peace.
