About: 

I am Shashi Regmi, ex-captain of the Nepalese Army. I am a Research Fellow at the Center for Nonviolence & Peace Studies. I have completed my Master’s program in International Peace Studies at the Kroc Institute, University of Notre Dame. I am currently working on my thesis ‘Civil Military Relation in Nepal’. Furthermore, I have also interned at Search For Common Ground, one of the leading peace building organizations of the world where I helped prepare strategy papers for engaging armed actors in Asia. I have also attended Bologna Symposium in Italy on Conflict Prevention, Resolution and Reconciliation, organized by the International Peace and Security Institute (IPSI) and the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS.)
