A delegation of certified Kingian Nonviolence & Peace educators and professors from three nations – USA, Jammu/Kashmir India, and Tibet visited His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama at his residence in McLeod Ganj, India, seeking both wisdom and spiritual guidance. The delegation included Geshe Dr. Thupten Tendhar, Prof. Paul Bueno de Mesquita and his wife, Kay, and Tashi Choetso from the URI Center for Nonviolence & Peace Studies and Dr. Seema Rohmetra and Dr. Sapna Sangra from Jammu University. This Pilgrimage was in connection with the URI Center’s Healthy Minds Inner Peace Project, which combines research and action supporting healthy mind-body connections.
The Dalai Lama gave the delegation a message of love, peace, and compassion to be promoted at all levels for the well being of all of humanity. In these times of turmoil only nonviolence will light the way forward.
