About:

Khadija is a fourth-year doctoral candidate in Psychology at the University of Rhode Island. In 2020 she plans on doing her predoctoral internship at The School at Columbia University in New York City. In addition, she hopes to defend her dissertation on the use of nonviolence training with high school students. Khadija’s personal goal is for nonviolence training to be used as a social and emotional learning program for children and adolescents. Nonviolence training has continued to cultivate her interest in multiculturalism and social justice, as well as intertwined her personal passions with her professional career.
