  • Monday, March 27: Opening ceremony at 11:00 AM; Mandala Sand Painting from 12:00 – 5:00 PM. 
  • Tuesday, March 28: Mandala Sand Painting from 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
  • Wednesday, March 29: Mandala Sand Painting from 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
  • Thursday, March 30: Mandala Sand Painting from 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM. 
  • Friday, March 31: Mandala Sand Painting from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM, and Closing ceremony at 2:00 PM.

Eight Tibetan Buddhist monks from the Mystical Arts of Tibet, Drepung Loseling Monastery, will construct a Mandala Sand Painting from March 27 to 31 at URI. Millions of grains of sand are painstakingly laid into place in this magnificent spiritual art form for Inner and Outer Peace. This event is free and open to the public.
