About:
Aamir Amjad is an accomplished development specialist and public policy advocate, with a Master’s degree in Political Science and a Master of Philosophy (M. Phil.) in Peace and Conflict Studies from the National Defense University (NDU) in Islamabad, Pakistan. He has done his fellowships at the University Of Rohde Island, USA, and the International Academy of Leadership (IAF), Germany. He has held various managerial and coordination positions. positions in both national and international organizations in Pakistan, where he has specialized in campaigning for human and minority rights, advocacy, research development, and peace and nonviolence education. Aamir also works extensively on cross-cutting themes such as climate change and SGDs policy engagement, community mobilization, leadership, and development programs, bringing his ten years of diverse experience in designing and facilitating training programs, strategic planning, and monitoring and evaluation of humanitarian, development, and education projects.
Aamir is a member of esteemed institutions such as the International Academy of Leadership (IAF) in Germany, Acton University (AU), and the University of Rhode Island. He frequently shares his insights on human rights, religious freedom, and equal citizenship in Pakistan through newspaper articles. Additionally, he regularly travels to participate in international platforms to speak about promoting human rights and sociopolitical freedom for religious minorities in Pakistan. Through his managerial and advocacy expertise, Aamir has built a reputation as an expert in his field.
