A 94 percent pass rate for NCLEX exam first-timers. A Master’s program ranked in the top 100 nationally. The opening of a state-of-the-art Nursing Education Center in Providence.
These are just some of the successes achieved in the URI College of Nursing in 2017. Combine that with an incoming class of students who averaged a 3.93 grade point average and 1214 average SAT score, and an expanding faculty of experts impacting healthcare beyond the walls of the university, and its clear the impact the College of Nursing has made on the community and health care at large.
The significant accomplishments achieved in the past year are chronicled in the College of Nursing annual report, released by the university this week. Read the full report here.
