The University of Rhode Island College of Nursing will host the Commission on Collegiate Nursing
Education (CCNE) from February 25-27, 2026 as CCNE conducts its reaccreditation site visit for our
baccalaureate, master’s, and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs and our post-graduate APRN
certificate program.
In accordance with CCNE’s procedures, the University of Rhode Island College of Nursing is
providing you with the opportunity as a program constituent or other interested party to submit, in
writing, third-party comments concerning a program’s qualifications for accreditation.
Third-party comments must be received by CCNE by no later than 21 days prior to the first day of
the evaluation- all comments are due to CCNE no later than February 4, 2026.
Third-party comments for baccalaureate (prelicensure BS and RN-BS) and graduate (Master’s nurse
practitioner, Doctor of Nursing Practice, and Post-Graduate APRN Certificate programs) nursing
programs must relate to the CCNE Standards for Accreditation of Baccalaureate and Graduate
Nursing Programs (2024) for education programs.
Please note that all third-party comments submitted to CCNE must be written in English, to be
consistent with CCNE’s policy on Conduct of Business in English.
