College of Nursing Undergraduate Information Sessions – offered Summer and Fall only

These 30-minute sessions are especially designed for prospective students and their families to learn more about the Nursing Program, courses and clinical experiences offered at URI.

URI Undergraduate Admission Information Session

The University’s Admission Information Session provides an overview of our academic, living and social opportunities. Led by an admission professional, you’ll learn important details about the University’s requirements and application process. Check the Admission website for dates.

Undergraduate Campus Tour

A Kingston campus tour includes academic buildings, a typical residence hall and a dining hall. Many visitors choose to attend a College of Nursing (CON) Information Session followed by an Admission Information Session, which offers a general campus tour and time to meet with an admission representative.

Undergraduate URI Open House

The University’s annual fall Open House program provides a comprehensive opportunity for prospective students and their families to learn about the institution and the College. At this event you can meet representatives from departments and organizations across campus. Check the Admission website for more information.

Undergraduate URI Welcome Day (for Admitted Students, by invitation only)

Welcome Days, held in the spring each year, provide admitted students with an all- encompassing visit experience. You can meet our faculty, administrators, alumni and students. In addition, tours of White Hall, the home of the College of Nursing are available. Admitted students are invited by the University Admission Office to this event
