Is the GRE required?
The GRE is not required.
Can I get financial aid?
Students in the program are eligible for financial aid. Please see the Tuition and Fees tab for information.
Am I a good candidate?
This program is a good fit for highly motivated, self-disciplined students. Online courses require just as much time, if not more, than face-to-face courses.
What does the program cost?
Tuition for the URI-Sodexo MS Dietetics Program is a total of $28,000 plus fees. Of this $28,000, $16,000 plus fees will be paid to URI and $12,000 will be paid to Sodexo.
Does the URI-Sodexo MS in Dietetics Program require any pre-requisites?
If you are not currently enrolled in a DPD program or have not graduated from a DPD program, we require the pre-requisites on this form. Please click here for an example form. If you are currently enrolled in a DPD program and will have a verification statement upon graduation, you do not need to fill out this form.
Does the URI-Sodexo MS in Dietetics Program accept international students?
International students under F-1 and J-1 visas are not eligible to enroll as this is a fully online program. Individuals with international degrees need to have them evaluated according to the graduate school guidelines. Additional information for international applicants can be found here.
Does the URI-Sodexo MS in Dietetics Program accept transfer credits?
We are unable to accept transfer credits due to the integrated design with Sodexo Dietetic Internship.
Am I eligible to take the RDN exam after completion of the URI-Sodexo MS in Dietetics Program?
This program provides the master’s coursework and 1024 hours of supervised experiential learning to meet the RDN credentialing requirements. Program graduates are eligible to take the credentialing exam to become RDNs upon program completion.
