MS in Dietetics Programs Tracks
The University of Rhode Island offers two track options for those looking to obtain their MS:
Integrated Experiential Track
Future Education Model Graduate Program
– Integrated MS, RDN program completed in 12 months
– Students begin in September and graduate in August
– 1024 hours of supervised experiential learning
– 17 courses (11 didactic and 6 practicum) for 37 credits
– Students are eligible to take the RDN exam upon program completion
Individualized Experiential Track
Masters of Science/Dietetic Internship Program
– Flexible route to complete the internship and master’s degree in 18 months
– Students start supervised practice in February of 2025
– Students start the online MS in September of 2025 and graduate in August of 2026
– 1024 hours of supervised practice
– 17 courses (11 didactic and 6 practicum) for 37 credits
– Students are eligible to take the RDN exam upon completion of the internship and master’s degree components
– Accredited under the 2022 Standards (DI)
