Biography
Dr. Eisenhower is a graduate of the URI College of Pharmacy and has experience in inpatient and outpatient care of family medicine and geriatric patients. She is a peer reviewer for the Journal of Pharmacy Technology, the Annals of Pharmacotherapy, and the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society.
Dr. Eisenhower is a member of the American Geriatrics Society and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. Her teaching interests include geriatric pharmacotherapy, interdisciplinary care, and chronic disease management. Her practice sites are the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly of Rhode Island (PACE-RI) and Steere House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Research
Dr. Eisenhower’s research interests include preventing use of inappropriate medications in the elderly, geriatric syndromes, adverse drug reactions, and medication reconciliation and prevention of hospital readmissions.
